I had a brief romance with textures about 12 months ago. My experience with them is somewhat limited, however I am learning each time I play around and experiment. I love the surreal, romantic, arty result which sometimes can be achieved when blending & layering together. Who would have thought with a slide of a bar here a click and slide there, a pretty ordinary image could be transformed!
I was once asked what type of photographer I wanted to be, that is what genre interested me the most. Weddings, portraits.... I had know idea. I didn't want to be boxed into a category. Each day my feelings are different, sometimes I want to do nature and landscapes, other times I feel feminine & romantic and tend to move towards softer and fragrant subjects.
Creativity is not necessarily a special calling or gift from God to the few, it is natural expression of the fact that we are created in the image of God, who is the Creator. It is His thumbprint on our souls as part of His signature. The real question is, “How will I live out this fingerprint of God on my life?”
